Whey Protein Shakes

Enjoy our whey protein shake recipes. For most of the recipes you may use fresh or frozen fruits or vegetables. Make certain that you wash all of your fresh veggies and fruit well prior to use. I usually even wash vegetables and fruit that require peeling, like potatoes or banana, to make certain that no contaminants that may be on the peel touch the fresh fruit or vegetables.

Most of the recipes may use fresh or frozen vegetables or fruit. When I find nice fresh in season vegetables or fruit, like baby carrots or strawberries, I'll buy extra to freeze for later use.

Chai Clarity

This shake is a great little pick-me-up.

  • 1/2 cup chai tea
  • 1/2 cup soy milk
  • 1 scoop great whey protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 8 - 10 icecubes

Blend all of the ingredients until well mixed and serve.

Kenny's Workout Shake

This post-workout protein shake recipe is graciously provided by Summershred. A great inspiration to anyone who want to, not only lose weight, but get that six pack and buff up their body.

  • 2 scoops of your favorite chocolate whey protein powder
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup Quaker Oatmeal (cooked with boiling water)
  • 5 to 10 grams of creatine (depending on your body size)

Place the ingredients in a blender. Blend them well, until mixed thoroughly, and serve.

Banana Bread Shake

  • 2 scoops of whey protein
  • 1 banana
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup Quaker Oatmeal (cooked with boiling water)
  • 3/4 cup Kellogg's Bran Flakes
  • Brown sugar or agare to taste

Place the ingredients in a blender and blend until mixed thoroughly and serve.

Blast of Blueberries

  • 2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
  • 6 to 8 ounces of water
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 25 to 30 fresh or frozen blueberries

Process all of the ingredients in a blender until mixed thoroughly and serve.
