Soy Protein Shakes

Enjoy our soy protein shake recipes. For most of the recipes you may use fresh or frozen fruits or vegetables. Make certain that you wash all of your fresh veggies and fruit well prior to use. I usually even wash vegetables and fruit that require peeling, like potatos or banana, to make certain that no contaminants that may be on the peel touch the fresh fruit or vegetables.

Most of the recipes may use fresh or frozen vegetables or fruit. When I find nice fresh in season vegetables or fruit, like baby carrots or strawberries, I'll buy extra to freeze for later use.

Soy Classic Protein Shake

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 scoop high quality soy protein powder
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey (to your taste)
  • 1 teaspoon bee pollen
  • 1/2 whole lemon - including the rind and seeds (well washed)
  • 6 walnuts
  • 6 fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 to 2 cups of water, depending on how thick you would like your shake

Place the ingredients in a blender and blend until mixed thoroughly and serve.

Shaking Post-Gym

  • 1 banana
  • 2 to 3 scoops of soy protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 5 grams creatine

Process all of the ingredients in a blender until mixed thoroughly and serve.

Strawberry-Orange Protein Shake

  • 1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 scoop of soy protein powder
  • 1 or 2 handfuls of nice ripe strawberries
  • 1/2 of a peeled banana
