Protein Shakes with Fruit
Enjoy our fruit filled protein shake recipes. For most of the recipes you may use fresh or frozen fruit. Make certain that you wash all of your fresh fruit well prior to using it. I usually even wash fruit that requires peeling, like bananas or mangos, to make certain that no contaminents that may be on the peel touch the fresh fruit.
Most of the recipes may use fresh or frozen fruit. When I find nice fresh in season fruit like strawberries or blueberries, I'll buy extra to freeze for later use.

PMS Potion
My wife swears by this concoction and, frankly, I'm starting to as well. Though its hard to believe that an indulgent blend of chocolate and raspberries is so beneficial but it seems to be true. The cocoa in the chocolate has been proven to stimulate the pleasure centers in the brain and soy milk contains plant-based hormones that may help to relieve some of the mood swings that may accompany PMS. The GSH Ignite Protein contains additional nutrients with the protein to assist in providing more energy without having to resort to caffeine and the fresh mint isn't only a garnish, but may also help in reducing cramps.
- 1/3 cup chocolate soy milk
- 1/3 cup soy milk
- 1 scoop GSH Ignite Protein
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 3/4 cup chocolate sorbet
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint (also try chocolate mint if you can find it)
Combine all of the ingredients except the chocolate sorbet and the mint. Process in a blender until mixed thoroughly. Add the sorbet and mint and blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
